Established in 1860, Ascension Graveyard harbors souls relocated from Jovanovsko Cemetery in 1921, where a monument of artistic significance marks their communal resting place. This hallowed ground also memorializes World War I prisoners with a dedicated grave, alongside the Russian Parcel, where Orthodox emigrants find eternal peace. Enriched by memorials from notable families and a chapel built from a dismantled church, Ascension weaves a somber tapestry of history, loss, and remembrance.
